Mountain Biking

Whether you are looking for an extreme downhill experience or the most beautiful cross-country trails in West Virginia, Snowshoe Mountain has a ton of options for your mountain biking vacation. With over 25 new mountain biking trails featuring natural rock drops, narrow bridges and demanding inclines, mountain biking at Snowshoe Mountain has never been this good.

Don't worry about having to ride or push your bike all the way back to the top of the mountain, the Snowshoe shuttle service provides continuous transportation and allows for a short breather before your next run. There is also lift access to most of the mountain biking trails available at Snowshoe Mountain.

Snowshoe Mountain offer cross-country bikers over 120 miles of trails stretching across the resort's 11,000 acres of backcountry. From gentle logging roads to gut wrenching inclines, there's something here for mountain bikers of all skill levels.

For the more death-defying adrenaline junkie, take your turn at the Western Territory and experience what the pros even hail as some of the most technical and demanding trails in the world. With more than 1,500 feet of downhill excitement, the Western Territory is guaranteed to give even the most advanced biker a run for their money.

Also available on the Western Territory side and new at Snowshoe Mountain is the lift-serviced Mountain Bike Freeride Park offering free-riders a chance to test their skills like never before. Take a shot at mastering some of the most difficult terrain in all of the East Coast.
